Back to BT's and more training and whip cracking from Ben ,Ben is such a good trainer he goes thru every thing step by step ,Dick Dog videos all of the training so we can look at it that night while Stus laying in the grass trying to be Andy McGechan taking photos what a joke. You would think he wants a job with Kiwi rider.(NOT) Ha ha.
We are at Lake Whitney at the moment,it took us 17hrs to get here the trip was so boring.Had my first day racing ,in the first race i was running a comfortable 5th ,tryed to go for 4th but went down in a corner and could not get bike going straight away got going again and was in 20th ended up finishing 13th.Second race for the day which was my first for the school boy class i got a 6th got a good start but made to many mistakes during race .the fast guys here are real fast and i,m finding it had to run with them but i can only say i came he to learn and learning i am .
I'd like to say thanks to the club and to Ben and lucy who have been so good to us and there friends over he that have helped us out with every thing.
Thanks Cam #555
Cam Dillon Race Report 3:
Thought id give you all an update on the past week off my 2nd event here in Amercia at the Spring nationals in Texus at Lake whitney..After a 16 hour drive we finally pulled into Lake whitney motorcross track on saturday, the track looked wicked.Practise on monday went good i was doing 4 classes beacuse you only got 3laps whitch gave me more track time to get the feel of it..Tuesday was the start of the qualifying races.I was up 1st on the 250 b stock class. After a good start I settled into the race in a comfortable 5th.With only a lap and a half to go and no pressure on me i washed the front in berm and couldnt get the bike going so ended up 13th.so missed the quilifing spot by two spots.
Schoolboys 14-16 got a good start and was in 3rd for most of the race and then the nerves got to me a the pressure came on.A couple of silly mistakes cost me 3rd to finish up 6th.
Wenesday: woke up to heavy rain.THey didnt start racing again till1:30 till the rained stoped. Continued on page 4
